CBTax are seeking a Technical Consultant from the construction sector to join our team to support the firms continued growth across the UK. It is essential that the right candidate has technical construction experience. The role will offer huge potential to a driven and dynamic person to develop within professional services.
The role will include assisting our clients within the construction sector with the preparation of a technical assessment to form part of a R&D claim. The role will allow a technical construction specialist to work as part of a wider team in delivering successful projects for clients making advancements in the construction field.

Key responsibilities:
- Meeting clients to discuss projects they have been working on during the periods under review – with current guidelines meetings are being held virtually
- Report writing to assess clients qualifying projects
- Working with the team to deliver successful projects
- Liaise with clients to ensure you are able to create a robust technical overview
- Manage client expectations
- Advocate in using internal sales tools (Salesforce) to ensure an efficient process is adopted
Key skills:
- Relevant technical experience within the construction sector including building techniques and associated activities
- Ideally would have a recognised construction related qualification such as MCIOB, CBuildE or MCABE – other qualifications would also be considered
- Professional and articulate, reliable and motivated
- Comfortable working with people at all levels within the organization in a fast-paced environment
- Confident manner representing the brand with superb interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- Commitment to excellent customer service
- Methodical, organised and accurate
- IT Literate with Microsoft office

It is essential that the right candidate has previous Project Management and coordination experience. The role will offer huge potential to a driven and dynamic Project Manager to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Coordinating recurring client projects, by speaking with clients and getting projects scheduled in with the relevant team members
- Manage new client’s onboarding ensuring a first class service is provided
- Actively maintain pipeline through Salesforce
- Monitor and track progress of projects
- Providing weekly/monthly updates to the Directors
- Answering client questions and ensuring projects are delivered in a manageable time by the team
- Advocate in using internal sales tools (Salesforce) to ensure an efficient process is adopted
